What kind of sword am I?

What do you call a sword that's 35.5" overall, with a 24" blade?

The total is 1.5 over max short sword, 0.5 over minimum longsword length.

But where it gets interesting is the blade is 1" under the minimum for a longsword. Basically it's a short sword, but the handle makes a little too long, so now it's technically neither. I used it as an offhand for a while without realizing it was technically a bit too long, but it didn't feel like a longsword, or look like one.

I'm not using it currently but I'm curious.  It's a latex katana.

Would you really consider it a short sword even though overall length is in the long sword category? It can make some blocking weapons get a bit fuzzy when you allow a couple inches.

With the "mass produced" Latex weapons we generally go with teh blade length.  But each "style" is up for review what that type is 1st brought to us.

We have in the (recent) past asked that they see if teh handle could be cut down to meet with rulebook specs.
