Wait, is there a sheet where I can sign up for getting turned evil? (temporarily of course)

Yeah, apparently Richard Quinn is the only one who keeps putting his name on the sheet.

Thanks Heidi that clears up A LOT of confusion.

ok so. now you have me even more confusd about the last event...

I was told we were under curse of transformation, but we were given the option to not accept it... which you are saying that is only for Transforms... so then we had transforms and not curse of transformations?

I don't want to "out" you, but that was an IG choice that was offered, not an OOG choice.

Ok... well the way it was asked confused me then... my bad. :) Next time I will make sure I know what I am answering. I thought I was being asked to accept formal magic on my spirit, or rez... I did not realize it was an in game question of do you accept.

So, I love kicking undead horses and all...

If you have a curse of transformation upon you, and get a golem cast on you, does the golem prevent the curse from going active? Or would you be the cursed creautre and a golem?

Thanks Daphne.

To make it easy for everyone. Here is the important part.

A character is always aware IG of any effect that is on their spirit.  If you are given a transform, you know what it is, the school, and the duration. A curse of transformation is something totally different.  It does not replace a Transform.  Curse of transformation is not a spirit effect.  It cannot be spirit-resisted, and is akin to a disease or infection of the body.  If you were infected with a curse of transformation, your character does not know he/she is cursed. (unless of course you were conscious/ willing).

Also, spirit resisting is an out of game decision that can't be held against you in game.

Also there is no spirit resisting a curse of transformation. You're stuck with it. :)

At the national event, I was told by plot on-site that you *can* have a transform and a golem active on you at the same time since the former targets your spirit, and the latter your body (and yes, *everything* stacks).

(For the record, I do *not* agree with this ruling, but I asked several times to be sure and this was what I was told each time.)

We're working on getting together Smart Rules People to clarify all assorted items here, including Vampire Charm, Voice Control, use of Resist Charm and Awaken against both of them, the whole enchilada.

I will figure out who is on National Rules, and I will get a clarification about golems and Transforms while we're at it.
